Biographie, Yves LALIBERTÉ

Détenteur d’un doctorat en lettres françaises et sémiotique, enseignant de littérature québécoise à l’université, Yves LALIBERTÉ est l'auteur de deux essais et quatre thrillers (LE SECRET DE DIEU I et II, TUTTI FOOTSIE et LE CYCLOPE). Il a oeuvré toute sa vie dans le domaine de l'information. 

Yves LALIBERTÉ a été plongé dans le roman d'aventures dès son jeune âge : à onze ans, il aimait déjà écrire des histoires de romans et de bandes dessinées. Aujourd'hui, Yves Laliberté se sent animé par la passion du détective dans les recherches qu'il mène en criminologie, en médecine légale et en histoire québécoise.

Ses romans se présentent comme des thrillers bien ficelés et bien documentés. Ils gardent en haleine du début à la fin avec des rebondissements inattendus, des révélations insoupçonnées dans un réseau complexe de mobiles et d'intrigues soigneusement orchestré.

Biography, Yves LALIBERTÉ

As a Doctor of French literature and semiotics, Yves LALIBERTÉ was once a college professor of Quebec literature.  He published a couple of essays and four thrillers (LE SECRET DE DIEU I et II, TUTTI FOOTSIE and LE CYCLOPE).  He has worked in the field of information for all his life.

Yves LALIBERTÉ  was engrossed in adventure books early on: at eleven, he used to write short stories and cartoon scripts.  Today, Yves Laliberté just loves the work involved in detective novels and he indulges himself in criminology, forensic science and Canadian history.

His thriller stories are tightly plotted and well researched.  From cover to cover, readers are kept on the edge of their seats, led through twists in the action and unexpected revelations woven into a complex network of motives and subplots.
